Vietnam lost chances to be in Formula-1 calendar

Date:

Late Monday evening was announced that the race, which was due to take place in Vietnam on April 25th, was being removed from an ambitious, record-breaking project combining 23 races.

The FIA’s decision was prompted by the arrest of Nguyen Duco Chung, chairman of the Hanoi City Council which was responsible for the organizing the race.

Vietnam GP should be replaced by Italy, Portugal or Turkey stages.
