Benavides wins and takes the lead

On each of his last four participations on the Dakar, Kevin Benavides has always won at least one special, except for the 2020 edition, and today the Argentinean has continued this tradition, despite a fall and a nose injury.

Thanks to finishing more than seven minutes ahead of Xavier De Soultrait, the HRC rider has also taken the lead in the general standings, 2’31’’ ahead of the Frenchman.
