Sebastien Loeb doesn’t give up: The goal is still to win this rally

It is more or less a case of what a difference a day does not make for Sébastien Loeb…The Frenchman broke a suspension arm after 97 km and was awaiting his assistance team, making this a difficult return to the Dakar for the nine times WRC champion.

“Adventure is adventure. And the Dakar rally is an adventure! We were waiting for 7 hours in the middle of nowhere. We couldn’t continue the race or fix a car. We will recharge our batteries tomorrow and will continue our road to Jeddah on Sunday. We will help Bahrain Raid Xtreme team and also will gain more experience. The goal is still to win this rally one day”, in his social network account wrote Sebastien Loeb.
