Ross Branch, the best rookie of 2019 and a stage winner in 2020, has started a new Dakar brimming with enthusiasm and determined to go on the attack. The factory Yamaha biker marked his debut in new colours with the fourth best time in the prologue.
“I’m so, so happy. I’ve waited for this day for so, so long. Big congratulations to David and the organisational team for making it happen. We’re really lucky and privileged to be here and to be racing.”
