It is more or less a case of what a difference a day does not make for Sébastien Loeb…The Frenchman broke a suspension arm after 97 km and was awaiting his assistance team, making this a difficult return to the Dakar for the nine times WRC champion.
“We spent 7 hours in the middle of nowhere. We were waiting when our car will be repared. Tomorrow we will recover and on Sunday we will come back to fight. We are developing our car and gain more experience for next year. We will come back to win this Dakar”, in his “Facebook” account wrote Daniel Elena.
