Penalty pushes Loeb back to seventh place

Sébastien Loeb, who had moved up several places in the general standings after posting the fourth fastest time in today’s special, has been handed down a 5-minute penalty for speeding.

The tight margins in this part of the standings mean the Bahrain Raid Xtreme driver is now seventh overall after being relegated behind Carlos Sainz, Jakub Przygoński and Sheikh Khalid Al Qassimi, 53’14’ behind Stéphane Peterhansel.
