Lewis Hamilton about Ferrari: Our positions never matched

In an interview with the Italian press “La Gazzetta dello Sport”, the seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton talked about past discussions with Ferrari.

The athlete’s contract with Mercedes expires at the end of the year. There is no doubt that the Formula-1 champion will extend it. Meanwhile, Ferrari has already announced that Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will defend its honor next year.

“Our positions just never matched. I think certain things have to happen at a certain time. Nothing happens without a reason. Before signing the contract with Mercedes, I said: ‘I am different from other drivers. Let me be myself, let me get to know new things because I want to find out who I really am. To find myself. In any case, I will help you and contribute to the growth of your brand in the world.” That’s what happened.”, said L. Hamilton.
