Lance Stroll saved his pole position

Racing Point driver Lance Stroll could be penalized for not starting the judges and tomorrow’s race in Turkey from pole position.

The Canadian was invited to appear before the judges for a possibly undiminished pace at one of the turns, where yellow flags were waving.

The incident occurred in the last part of the qualifier when L. Stroll recorded his best result. The team had warned their athlete by radio that yellow flags were waving at the turn. Not only L. Stroll but also McLaren pilot Lando Norris, who may not have slowed down enough.
