Honda’s Argentinian biker posted the second fastest time of the day, half a minute behind Toby Price. The same order prevails in the general classification.

“Navigating was difficult, but after a hundred kilometres or so, I started to feel at ease with the roadbook and the terrain. I upped the pace as soon as I joined the leading group.”
