Carlos Sainz believes that his compatriot Fernando Alonso has chosen the best time for his return to Formula-1.
The Spaniard made his F-1 debut in 2001 and then represented Minardi team which is now AlphaTauri. Later he moved to Renault and won two World champion titles. F. Alonso withdrew from Formula-1 after 2018 season. But he will return next year and will defend the honor of the Renault team again, which will be known as Alpine from next season.
C. Sainz says that Alpine team is moving in the right direction, “They know how to improve their car. I think Fernando decided to come back at the right time. This is good news for Formula-1.”
Meanwhile, C. Sainz will leave McLaren and will move to Ferrari. “I have no regrets, especially now”, said the Spaniard – I enjoy in this team. I try to reach maximum.”
