Alexandre Giroud: We got down to business

The French rider followed up on yesterday’s victory in the prologue by beating Chile’s Giovanni Enrico for the stage win today.

“The quad race was rather war-like today… It was a great stage! We got down to business. It was hard at the beginning because I was opening the road, so I got caught. You can see the dust trail of a quad from miles away. We then played cat and mouse for a bit. I was first across the line, but someone could end up posting a faster time.”
