Alex Albon won’t leave Red Bull

Red Bull manager Christian Horner has assured that Alex Albon will remain on the team until the end of this year’s season and will not be replaced by another pilot.

“We believe in his talent. For him, this is only the second season in Formula-1. I agree, when your teammate is Max Verstappen, it’s really not easy psychologically. Alex proof that he can recover. I hope that he will be able to do it in Imola”, said C. Horner.

The British added that the team is going to decide about A. Albon’s future in the next few weeks: “Our priority is to give Alex the opportunity to keep his place on the team. Let’s not forget that he scored more points than Pierre Gasly when he was in Red Bull last year.”
