A tough day for Barreda and Brabec

The first two riders to start the special are having a complicated time. After 183 km, Joan Barreda trails by more than 18’ whilst his HRC team-mate Ricky Brabec lags behind by 15’. Pablo Quintanilla is also experiencing difficulties, with a deficit of 12’ just before the midway point.

Behind the handlebars of his Honda, Kevin Benavides is still in front after 183 km with a lead of 33’’ over the KTM ridden by Toby Price and almost 2’ over Matthias Walkner. For the moment, the Argentinean is holding steady! However, he will have to watch out for rookie Rui Gonçalves on his Sherco, who occupies fourth position, 5’ behind.
